Founded in 2021, Young Cat Games is a video game development company in England that specialises in creating experiences with a personal story which have a unique and atmospheric art style to accompany it. Our games are developed solely by George Cranton with the music for both being composed by Ramy El Bagir. We build our games upon 3 core pillars: the world takes centre stage, the story is personal, and the difficulty is fair.

The World

Without a beautiful, eye-catching, and atmospheric world to travel through, the player can’t truly become immersed. This is why the design of it is at the core of our games.

The Story

While having a deeply immersive and atmospheric world is, to us, the first priority when designing a video game, without story it is ultimately meaningless. Story is what gives the player a reason to experience and explore our games which is why we strive to ensure that it differentiates itself from the crowd, and what better way to do this than to make it something personal which they can connect with.

The Difficulty

With a stunning world created and a deeply personal story told, it is important to us that the player feels as though they have achieved the right to see how it all concludes by the time they have reached the end of the game. It is because of this that we strive to design a fair difficulty, by which we mean one which tests the player’s ability while not being overly harsh.
